Into Light App Reviews

Hmm

At first I thought it was a good game but quickly it becomes boring, first puzzle word jumble second puzzle line up the lights, then extinguish the torches all in all not very challenging. Very little depth as far as drawing the gamer into an interesting story. Sorry for me this game lacked substance.

Into Light

Seemed like it would be fun and the graphics are wonderful BUT I cant play this game. I suspect anyone who has experienced motion sickness playing games like first person shooters would have the same issue. I wish there was a way to make games friendly for people like me.

Its good

I think you have to like these sort of games to get into it

Meh...

The music is relaxing and the graphics are good but its boring. None of the puzzles are difficult and the gameplay is very slow.

Just ok

Game is just ok. Got a little boring after a while repeating the same three type of puzzles. I finished it but I didnt understand the ending...once I finished defeating the four final puzzles and moved on to the "light" and the credits started rolling, pressed the butterfly and then it just repeated back to the last same few statements and repeated again ..did I miss something?

Not worth the money!

Not worth the money. The mini games are all the same. Not really a game, more of a story that isnt very interesting or fun. Disappointed I wasted my money on this!

Quickly becomes tiring

I enjoyed this game at first, but everything became so repetitive that I just wanted to reach the end. Unfortunately I got so frustrated with the dragging on of it all that I deleted the app. Whats more, I couldnt even find a full play through on YouTube just to see what Id missed. Seems no one has played this through to the end.

Lame.

This game is lame. Its too dark and spooky for it to be for younger children, but the puzzles have literally zero challenge factor. A monkey could solve them. Dont waste your money.

Wow amazing

Well worth the price and great gameplay

So-so.

Pros: Great art (albeit creepy). Nice soundtrack. Engaging story. Cons: The puzzles are incredibly redundant and you quickly want variety. The story ending is unsatisfying and leaves confusing loose ends.

Ugh!!!!

Just bought this and it freezes before I get anywhere! Ive reloaded it and still the same! The few "puzzles" that I did get to experience were very lacking in any kind of challenge.

Gorgeous game

I absolutely love this game. Very mesmerizing, and bewitching. I hope it takes me a long time to finish this game, because I am so immersed in the story that I will be very sad when it is finished!

Wow! What a disappointment!

Downloaded the game before this game by fire like games limited. Was really looking forward to into light. What a horrible disappointment! Dont waste your time on this game its just frustrating and mostly just stupid and it waste your time, unlike the first game which was great and I still play! What a shame.

Freezes at intro

Just got this and it freezes early into the intro, after a voice calls out if anyone is there. Using iPhone 5 & latest apple update.

Lame

Pretty good creepy ambiance. Other than that its a lousy game. Puzzles are annoying, repetitive. Not much of a story with predictable twist at the end. Finished in 3 hours. Cant believe I paid $4 for this!

Extremely over priced.

The only reason i gave this game two stars is because it is a very pretty game. Like the artwork in it and whatnot. But its def not worth the money. All you do is read, swipe away words, unscramble letters and read some more. Its a huge disappointment. The description is VERY misleading. I wish i could get my money back. I dont even really have any desire to finish it. I wish i would of spent ,y money on a different app store game.

Nope.

Beautiful graphics. Thats the good. Storyline is predictable yet muddled. Ending is abrupt and feels like they forgot the last chapter. The concept is too dark for children, but the puzzles are too simple for adults (except for a few at the end). Honestly - word jumbles, random order guessing, and "point at the right letter" games arent even really puzzles, just repetitive ways to waste your time. But no worries, because you wont waste NEARLY as much time answering obvious questions as you will MANUALLY CLEARING THE SCREEN OF LETTERS OVER AND OVER AND OVER AGAIN. The one actual puzzle, a sliding color game, quickly gets redundant and boring. Bad game. Bad job, designers.

Pretty to look at. Thats it.

The visuals are beautiful but the game itself lacks so much. There are only three types of puzzles and after a while the repetition feels mundane. Some parts are kind of annoying. I didnt think I was paying $4 to swipe letters off the screen 50 percent off the time. I played for about 20 minutes, got distracted with the husband getting home, and havent had the urge to open this app since. Most definitely not worth the price.

Slow and repetitive

Wouldnt really call this a "game"-- its barely even interactive.

Short but f*cking incredible

It was freaking addicting, I couldnt put it down. Gorgeous aesthetic, music that pulls at your heartstrings, and emotional, almost poetic, writing made for absolutely amazing gameplay. I cant wait to see what they put out next.
